CELEBRATION OF MAHASHIVRATRI

“A Guru is not someone who holds a torch for you. He is the light.”

Mahashivratri festival or The Night of Shiva is celebrated with devotion and religious fervour in honour of Lord Shiva. It marks the wedding of Lord Shiva and Parvati.

  SAMVIDIANS celebrated this festival with great devotion. Cadets visited nearest Shiva temple by trekking along with teachers. They gave ritual bath to the Shiva Lingam with milk, water and Bilwa leaves. They chanted Mantras of “Om Namah Shivay”. After that they had Prasad. The worship and celebration was definitely the ultimate fun with spiritual blend.
