MUSIC AND DANCE

Co-curricular activities prepare the students in the Art of Living and Art of working together. Our students have a wide range of activities to choose from ranging from music, dance, drama, debate, poem competitions and many more. Our instructors/ coaches for each activity are the subject matter experts and prepare students for competitions in each activity. Our students become so well versed in their chosen co-curricular activities that they can decide to make their careers out of the same.

MILITARY TRAINING

Key characteristics of a good human being are leadership, discipline, time management, perseverance, team work and ability to handle unforeseen circumstances with courage and quick thinking. Nothing can help a child to develop all these characteristics better than a military training.

We at Samvid Gurukulam have a team of experienced ex-army personnel to impart military training. We have a shooting range, obstacle training field, and horse riding facility managed by expert instructors.

Proper attention is given on physical fitness of the child by ensuring nutritional diet combined with physical and mental fitness training of the child.

The purpose of military training is to tighten up the slack toughen the body and polish the spirit.

SPORTS

Sports are important pillars of a child’s personality development. We currently have table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, athletics and yoga to start with and many more sports will be added in due course of time. All our sports instructors come with extensive experience in their respective fields.

Sports are more than just games. They are about life, emotion, passion, and some of the greatest highs and lows we can experience.

CO-SCHOLASTICS

Co-scholastic activities prepare the students in the Art of Living and Art of working together. Our students have a wide range of activities to choose from ranging from public speaking, writing/ reciting stoies & poems, music, dance, drama, debate, and many more. Our instructors/ coaches for each activity are expert in their subjects and they prepare students for competitions in each activity. Our students become so well versed in their chosen co-curricular activity that they can also decide to make it their career.

Play is our brain’s favorite way of learning.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

We at Samvid Gurukulam identify the strengths of each child and encourage him to excel in the field of his choice and strength. With our strong experience of 13 years at Samvid Gurukulam Vrindavan, we are now ready to replicate the success at Nalagarh.

Our children from Samvid Gurukulam have entered and excelled in various fields like medicine, engineering, computers, singing, and fashion designing etc. to name a few.

Children are provided coaching by the experts of the subject or art such that they do not require external coaching.

LEARNING BEYOND CLASSROOMS

TOURS & EXCURSIONS

Educational excursions and picnics provide an ideal platform for experiential learning. Day trips and educational tours to various destinations of cultural, historical and spiritual importance will be undertaken to acquaint the children with our roots, profound culture and traditions.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

Globalization is changing the dynamics of the society worldwide. It becomes imperative for us as Educators to prepare our students not just to become engaged citizens and vital members of the community but to become leaders on the world stage.

International exchange programmes provide our students a gateway into different cultures, faiths and value systems. In addition to allowing our students gain rich insight, these programmes also strengthen the confidence of our students to move beyond the familiar support network.

The Samvid Gurukulam currently enjoys partnership with Newtown High School, Connecticut, USA.

INDUSTRY EXPOSURE

We have tie-ups with many national & multi-national companies and we take our students for factory visits to these companies. This gives exposure to various types of career options which a child can choose from. We also help our students to get summer internships in these companies.
